"HEAVEN IS INSIDE US" 2006 - 2009

Heaven is inside, a series that symbolizes a journey inside ourselves. The main characters with sky painted on their bodies that show how the heaven we look for outside is really something we all have within ourselves.
The artist in his work wants to remember the eternity of being and the ephemerality of the body (represented by the clock pieces) that lives inside us.
The chessboard is the journey of life, where black and white are opposites that complement each other, like the Ying and Yang, they need each other to make sense.
We are human beings moving like chess pieces through life. Attitudes and opportunities show us the way and decisions will be the ones to make us win the match of this beautiful game, “The game of life”.
